D’Angelo Lacy is an independent R&B/pop prodigy based in Los Angeles. Under his stage persona Black Gatsby, the soul and R&B singer/songwriter has claimed a sonic landscape all to his own with a an eclectic style varying from gospel and blues to electronic, disco, and hip-hop.
The multi-faceted singer has been a hot commodity as of late having recently collaborated on future releases with many modern and fast emerging taste-making producers such as Zed’s Dead, Chris Lake, Moon Boots, Cut Snake, and Broderick Batts. Lacy also co-wrote and contributed vocals to Twin Shadow’s Grand Theft Auto V hit “Old Love/New Love” – one of Rolling Stones’ Best 100 Songs of 2013.
